Task Too Easy (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Task Too Easy mobile application (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. You may also use the app as a guest without providing any personal information.

We store the content you create in the app, including:

• Due dates and scheduling information

• Task completion status and history

1.3 Device Information

For debugging and compatibility purposes, we may collect:

• Android version
• Device model and screen dimensions
• App version

1.4 Analytics (Optional)

If you opt in to analytics, we use PostHog to collect anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog.

1.5 Error Reporting (Optional)

If you opt in to error reporting, we use Sentry to capture crash reports. These may include app state at the time of the error and basic device information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Sync your tasks across your devices
• Improve and develop new features
• Debug errors and performance issues
• Communicate important service updates

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to third parties.

3. How We Store Your Data

3.1 Local Storage

All your task data is stored locally on your device. The app is designed to work fully offline — your data is never on the network critical path.

3.2 Cloud Sync

When you are signed in, your data is synced to Supabase for cross-device access and backup. Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted using Supabase's infrastructure-level encryption.

Real-time synchronisation between your device and the cloud backend is handled by a dedicated sync service.

3.3 Data Location

Your data is stored in cloud infrastructure located in Asia-Pacific (Australia).

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it by law.

You can request an export of all your task data in JSON format by emailing tasktooeasy@jincode.com.au.

Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing tasktooeasy@jincode.com.au with the subject line “Delete my account”.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at tasktooeasy@jincode.com.au.
