Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Task Too Easy mobile application (the “Service”) operated by Task Too Easy (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Use of the Service

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

1.2 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial task management purposes. You agree not to use the Service:

  • In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • To transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
  • To attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • In any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

1.3 Account Responsibility

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

2. Your Content

2.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content (tasks, notes, projects) you create using the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

2.2 Licence to Us

By storing your content through the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, back up, and sync your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not access, review, or use your content for any other purpose.

2.3 Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the content you create in the Service. We are not responsible for any content you choose to store.

3. Service Availability

3.1 Offline-First Design

The Task Too Easy app is designed to function fully offline. Your tasks are stored locally on your device and synced to the cloud when connectivity is available.

3.2 No Uptime Guarantee

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at any particular time or that it will be uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

3.3 Beta Status

The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly. We appreciate your feedback to help us improve.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected
  • Your data will never be lost

We strongly recommend keeping your own backups of important information.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Task Too Easy be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or AUD $10 if you have not made any payments).

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Task Too Easy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

7. Termination

7.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account and data by emailing tasktooeasy@jincode.com.au.

7.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Task Too Easy regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
